Shared Island: VR Experience and Creative Laboratory

  • Workshop

Take part in a VR experience that documents the journey of 20 young people from Wexford and Belfast as they explore themes of climate change and mental health through creative activity such as social circus, drama, land-art and visual art. Visit the accompanying creative laboratory exhibition, where you get to chat to the young people as they share the ideas that they tested out along the way.

Google Cardboard Viewers will be provided. Please bring your own phone to access the VR experience. 

A collaboration between participants of Wexford Arts Centre’s Creative Youth Lab and The MAC Belfast’s young people’s programming. Other partners include Gorey School of Art, and Ulster University (Faculty of Life and Health Sciences and Belfast School of Art). This is a Shared Island project for Cruinniú na nÓg 2025.
