Songs for Children in the Traditional Style – Rachel Uí Fhaoilain

  • Workshop

Traditional Singer & Folklore Collector Rachel Uí Fhaoláin will guide the children through the creative skills of writing their own songs in the traditional style while engaging in a fun repertoire of bilingual songs from her own publications. 

Rachel will also work with the children to create their own illustrated songbooks; encouraging the creation of artwork in response to the stories within the songs. The children’s songbooks will be exhibited in Gorey Library.
