Sound Safari

Workshop

A high energy, immersive creative experience where children aged 7–11 go on a safari through different sound world exploring rhythm, nature sounds, body percussion, and movement before creating and performing their own group soundscape.

This concept emphasises:

Participation over perfection
Exploration through play
Creativity using the body and environment
Sensory-friendly & neuro-inclusive

Children become Sound Explorers, travelling through imaginary environments (jungle, ocean, space, storm, etc.), discovering how to create sound using:
-Their bodies
-Everyday objects
-Simple instruments

They then collaborate to create a live performance piece!
