Explore the Maker Space Corner at Cruinniú na nÓg
Saturday, June 7th, 2025 | 12:00–3:00pm | Kilkee Community Centre

Step into a world of creativity and innovation at our Maker Space Corner, part of this year’s Cruinniú na nÓg celebrations in Kilkee!

On display will be an exciting collection of inventions and designs created by young makers during our hands-on workshops in the lead-up to the event. From imaginative cardboard constructions—like buildings, robots, and more—to fun experiments with circuits, lights, and sound, these projects showcase the creativity and curiosity of our local youth.

Using reusable screws and child-friendly tools, participants explored engineering basics through Cardboard Creationactivities, while Conductivity and Connectivity sessions introduced simple electronics with LEDs, batteries, and buzzing bees to spark interest in STEM.

You’ll also find live t-shirt design and printing sessions happening throughout the day—so come by, get inspired, and maybe even take part!

This is a space for creativity, discovery, and fun—for all ages!
