The Rubbish Room

The Rubbish Room is where art class meets treasure hunt—a vibrant, hands-on creative space where every scrap of “rubbish” is a doorway to invention. Children are invited to build, sculpt, collage and imagine using buckets of repurposed materials, like milk cartons, fabric scraps, bottle-caps, wires, buttons, bubble-wrap, and more.

There are no templates or instructions—just raw materials and open-ended creativity. Kids might leave with a toy, costume, rocket, robot, or something entirely new.

Using everyday “waste” to create, children also learn about sustainability and resourcefulness in a playful, meaningful way.

The Rubbish Room is more than a craft session—it’s a celebration of creativity, reuse, and possibility.
