The Story of Music and Instruments Through the Ages

  • Workshop

This workshop at Oranmore Library features a selection of ancient Irish musical instruments, including flutes, whistles, percussion, horns and trumpets, spanning the Stone Age to Early Medieval times. 

The session is interactive, engaging children through questions and discussions and demonstrating the unique sounds of these historical instruments. 

This workshop is designed for children aged from 7 to 12.
