The Whispering Forest Guardians: A Collaborative Eco & Individual Micro-Worlds

This workshop invites children to explore the magic of County Clare’s nature through tactile art and upcycling. Participants will create their own 3D ‘Micro-World’, sanctuary for a forest spirit built on a natural wood slice using preserved moss, bark, and stones.

Simultaneously, we will work together on ‘The Great Whispering Tree’, made from slender local branches and recycled newspapers. Children will ‘awaken’ the tree by attaching handdrawn messages and wishes on paper ‘leaves’ using jute twine and wooden pegs.

This project combines character design, forest school elements, and sensory-friendly creativity.
