Upcycling and Sewing Workshop

Workshop

This 2.5 hour workshop is aimed at children aged 9-12 years with no previous
sewing experience required. The aim is to teach children the importance of
sustainability, upcycling and creativity.

Participants may bring their own old clothes/fabrics or use the fabrics provided. They will learn basic hand sewing techniques to embellish their bags with fabrics, buttons and beads to allow creative expression.

By the end of the workshop, each participant will have made their own
unique bag, fostering a sense of achievement and pride in their creations.
