Viking Dagger Design- School of Irish Archaeology

Workshop

Children will learn about the ancient craft of Bladesmithing and the art of sword design, including the work of a blacksmith. To complement this exciting workshop, children will make a leather scabbard for their Viking Seax (dagger), and inscribe their name on the blades using the Runic alphabet.

Ages 7-12
