Wool & Felt Collage Exhibition – Cruinniú na nÓg at Carrigallen Library
Celebrating Creative Textiles with Artist Hannah Carleton
Carrigallen Library is proud to present a special Wool & Felt Collage Exhibition as part of this year’s Cruinniú na nÓg celebrations. The exhibition showcases the imaginative and colourful work created by local children during a textile workshop led by artist Hannah Carleton.
In the lead-up to Cruinniú na nÓg, participants explored the art of fabric collage using wool, felt and a variety of textured materials. With Hannah’s guidance, each child crafted a unique piece that expresses their creativity and personality through colour, pattern and design.
Now on display in Carrigallen Library, these vibrant textile artworks celebrate the imagination and artistic talents of the young makers involved. The exhibition invites the public to view and enjoy these beautiful pieces, created in a relaxed and supportive setting that encouraged exploration and self-expression.
📍 Location: Carrigallen Library
🗓 Open to the public during library hours
