WOWTH – Louth Art Competition

Louth Arts Service, in collaboration with Louth Library Service, are delighted to bring the WOWTH! Art Competition back for its second year. Part of our Cruinniú na nÓg programme this competition is a celebration of artistic talent across County Louth, offering a fantastic platform for young artists to showcase their skills and imagination. 

The WOWTH! Art Competition welcomes entries from individuals across three categories:

  • Under 7
  • 8-12 years
  • 13-18 years 

This years theme is “This Is Why I Love Louth” – what is your favourite thing about our home county? 

Application forms are available from all branches of our library service. Entries must be submitted to your local library by 28th May 2025, in time for us to select the winners. 

Winners will receive fantastic art hampers and will be announced in time for Cruinniú na nÓg on Saturday June 7th. 

So tell us what you love about Louth – the people, the food, the buildings? Whatever it is, why not draw it, paint it, spray it or stick it in whatever artistic format you wish?
