This Cruinniú na nÓg, RTÉ’s This is Art! is hosting RTÉ This is Art! Island

The first all-island public art exhibition, RTÉ This is Art! Island is open for one day only on Cruinniú na nÓg, Saturday June 7th,  Ireland’s national day of free creativity for children and young people.

The exhibition is showcasing 15 amazing RTÉ This is Art! entries from young people from every corner of the island – bringing powerful, inspiring youth expression directly into our communities. 

RTÉ This is Art! Island is popping up in the following locations: the Botanic Gardens in Dublin, King John’s Castle in Limerick, The Abbey on Sherkin Island, Cork, Father Burke Park in Galway City &  ‘In Your Space Circus’ Circus Picnic in St Columb’s Park House, Derry. 

This Cruinniú na nÓg, discover some of Ireland’s most exciting young talent, in unexpected places around the island of Ireland. The featured artists include:

National Botanic Gardens, Dublin

The This is Art! Island art exhibition comes to you from RTÉ’s This is Art! and Creative Ireland as part of Cruinniú na nÓg 2025, Ireland’s national day of free creativity for children and young people.

Cruinniú na nÓg brings creativity to life for the young people of Ireland, and this exhibition is one way we’re making space for young people to be seen and celebrated in public.

RTÉ’s This is Art! is back in September. So watch this space for the 2025 campaign.
