Unsung Youth 2024 by FamiliBase

Get ready to groove, because Unsung Youth is back and better than ever! This year for Cruinniú na nÓg the vibrant sounds of young musicians from across Ballyfermot and Cherry Orchard will fill the air at an electrifying open-air concert in People’s Park, nestled beside the Civic Centre in Ballyfermot.

Unsung Youth isn’t just a music festival – it’s a celebration of community and creativity, giving the talented youth of Dublin 10 a chance to shine on stage. This year FamiliBase Jamz Cafe music group has joined forces with Ballyfermot Youth Service to offer a series of music workshops and rehearsals, running weekly from April leading up to the main event.

Led by experienced professionals, these workshops provide young musicians with invaluable guidance in performance, vocal skills, musical direction, and band dynamics. It’s a journey of growth and collaboration, where budding artists have the opportunity to refine their craft and unleash their musical potential.

On the big day, prepare to be blown away as bands, solo artists, and music ensembles grace the stage with a captivating mix of cover songs, original compositions, and classical pieces. From rock anthems to soulful ballads, there’s something for everyone to enjoy at Unsung Youth.
