Blast off on a creative adventure in Cats in Space, a whimsical watercolour painting workshop with artist Orla Barry, especially created for Cruinniú na nÓg 2025!

Perfect for children aged 6 to 12, this fun and imaginative session invites young artists to dream up and paint their very own space-exploring feline friends. Guided by Orla’s playful and encouraging approach, participants will learn basic watercolour techniques, explore colour-blending and texture, and let their imaginations run wild among the stars.

Whether your space cat is floating through galaxies or chasing comets, this workshop is all about creativity, colour and cosmic fun.

All materials provided – just bring your imagination!
