Playful Park: Make, Imagine, Explore!

Join The Cottage Market Cavan for a day full of imagination, creativity and fun, as we celebrate Cruinniú na nÓg 2025! This FREE family-friendly event invites children and young people (ages 0–18) to explore a playful park of hands-on, interactive activities designed to inspire and engage.

What’s On: 

Storytime – Holly and the Lucky Tree with a real tree-planting. 

Two readings: 2pm and 4pm

5-8 years and 9-12 years

Giant Knitting Installation – Help make Cavan’s Longest Scarf. 

All-day activity (12.00 noon to 6.00 pm) 9 years upwards.

Baby Maze – A colourful, sensory adventure for little explorers. 

All-day activity (12.00 noon to 6.00 pm) 0-4 years only. 

Giant Chalkboard – Doodle, draw and express yourself!

All-day activity (12.00 noon to 6.00 pm) 5 years upwards.

Pop-up Gaeltacht – Use your cúpla focal in a fun, lively space.

All day activity (12.00 noon to 6.00 pm) 5 years upwards.

This event welcomes all children and young people. No booking required.
