NTE: Spreagadh: Tipperary Youth Open Mic

  • Performance

Spreagadh is an exciting open mic night created for young people in Tipperary. Taking place in the Source Arts Centre, Thurles, on the evening of Saturday 7th June, this event invites teenagers aged 14–18 to take the stage and share their talents—music, poetry, comedy, storytelling and more.

This event is part of the Cruinniú na nÓg national day of free creativity for young people. Spreagadh means “inspiration” in Irish, and that’s exactly what we’re aiming to spark—by giving young voices a platform to be heard in a fun, welcoming and supportive space.

The evening will be hosted by Danielle Martin and Emily Matthews, with performances curated through a sign-up system that opens two weeks before the event. Whether you’re performing or just coming to enjoy the show, this is your stage, your crowd and your moment to shine.

Heads up: Photos and videos may be taken during the event to capture the creativity!
