A fun and inspiring opportunity for children to explore the exciting world of dance! These workshops are open to both boys and girls and offer a dynamic mix of warm-ups, movement games, and the chance to follow choreography while also creating their own dance sequences through improvisational techniques. No previous dance experience necessary—everyone is welcome!
The project encourages children to express themselves through movement, helping them build creativity, self-confidence, body awareness, and social skills. Participants will explore solo work and collaborate in pairs, trios and groups. Through these experiences, they will discover ways to lead, follow, and work together, while also learning to move their bodies in unique ways and navigate space creatively.
In a supportive and non-competitive environment, every child will be encouraged to embrace their own creativity, form new friendships, and learn from one another. The workshops provide a introduction to dance, choreography, and improvisation
The children will have the opportunity to showcase their work in a special public sharing on June 7th as part of Cruinniú na nÓg, inviting family and friends to celebrate their creativity .
