Yola and Our Stories: A fun theatre workshop about history, heritage and storytelling – Chris Moran

  • Workshop

Yola was a language spoken in South Co. Wexford until the 1850s – but what does it mean for us today? By using theatre and storytelling exercises, young people will be encouraged to explore their local history and heritage.

No previous drama experience is required – and the workshop will be in English, not Yola! This is part of the ongoing Yola Language Heritage Project, funded and supported by Wexford County Council in partnership with Creative Ireland.
