A Space Story

Workshop

As part of the Cruinniú na nÓg celebrations, Cork County Council is hosting a free, imaginative art workshop for children aged 5 to 8 years on Saturday, June 7th at Midleton Library.

Budding artists will embark on an exciting journey through A Space Story – where a flying saucer hovers over a mysterious planet. Who might emerge from the ship? Could they be friendly? Children will get to use fun cartoon character templates to bring their own alien adventures to life.

This event stems from a creative idea by a student at Holy Family NS Shanagarry, submitted through the My Creative Wish initiative, which gives children across Cork a voice in shaping this special day of national creativity for young people.

Places are limited to ensure each child enjoys a rich and engaging experience. To secure a spot, email MidletonLibrary@corkcoco.ie.

This workshop reflects Cork County Council’s dedication to nurturing creativity and ensuring that young people across the region have access to meaningful cultural experiences.
