Creative Dance Workshop

  • Workshop

The workshop will commence with a warm-up, followed by an exploration of contemporary dance techniques including the use of space, fluid movement, floorwork, breath and release. 

Participants will then be taught a short routine or section of choreography which will transition to a choreography craft phase where they can experiment individually with guided improvisation and co-create in group tasks. 

You will be given the opportunity to showcase any ideas, choreography or skills that you have developed during the workshop and celebrate what you have shared and learned from one another. The workshop will be brought to a close with a cool down and time for reflection and feedback.

Choose from 10 to 11.15am for Ages 5-12 and from 11.30am to 1pm for Ages 13-15.
