Cruinniú na nÓg – Celebrating Creativity and Local Biodiversity in Ballyconnell

  • Exhibition

This Cruinniú na nÓg, come celebrate creativity and nature with a unique community art installation in Ballyconnell’s newly-refurbished Community Centre!

In collaboration with three local schools – Ballyconnell Mixed N.S., Ballyconnell Church of Ireland National School, and St. Mogue’s Secondary School – young artists will explore local biodiversity through the medium of air-dry clay with local creative, Louise Swords, creating a vibrant, collaborative installation, inspired by the natural world around us.

The work will be officially unveiled on June 7th Cruinniú na nÓg 2025 and the whole community is invited to take part!  Drop in anytime, to view the students’ creations and join a fun, hands-on clay workshop, where children and their families can contribute to a growing group piece—no booking required.

This is a family-friendly activity and parents/caregivers must remain, to provide supervision. All ages welcome.
