The Joy of Crochet (Ages 8+)

  • Workshop

Castledermot Library will be welcoming artist Sarah Higgins for Cruinniú na nÓg, where she will be delivering a beginner-friendly crochet workshop. This class will provide an introduction to the craft by teaching attendees how to make a granny square. We look forward to seeing you there for this fun, engaging workshop! This event is suitable for ages 8+ and all materials will be provided on the day.

Sarah Higgins is one of Kildare’s local artists and has had a lifelong interest in the textile arts, in particular embroidery, crochet, and knitting. Her art is influenced by nature and literature, and this September, she will be entering her final year in NCAD as a mature student. Her work can be found on Instagram @higginssart
