Royal Sites on a Shared Island

  • Workshop

To celebrate Cruinniú na nÓg on a Shared Island, we are excited to bring two young communities in Tipperary and Armagh together to celebrate their shared heritage. Both areas are fortunate to share Royal Sites i.e.  the Rock of Cashel and Eamain Macha or Navan Fort.

Both groups have been engaged in creative activities using our traditional skills such as weaving to make swords and shields. An exchange trip between both communities will take place in May and June.

The two groups are also making a short docu/film and learning skills from local film-makers. This film will be premiered on Cruinniú na nÓg in the Brú Ború Centre in Cashel and Navan Fort in Armagh.
