DYDC Move with Me Dance Workshops

Join Dublin Youth Dance Company to take part in a 20-minute dance workshop, a great introduction to creative dance within a relaxed setting. Taking place in the library’s fabulous event space, the workshops will be taught by dancer Louise Behan whose fun approach ensures that classes are accessible for all experiences and ages.

Workshops will take place at the following times:
12.00pm (5 – 8 years), 1.00pm (5 – 8 years), 2.00pm (9 – 12 years), 3.00pm (9 – 12 years) 

No booking is required for the workshops, however we will have limited places, so early arrival is recommended, and places will be filled on a first come first serve basis.

This is part of DLR’s Cruinniú na nÓg i mBaile Uí Ógáin a mini-festival event that celebrates the opening of our new library in Ballyogan. As well as these workshops the event will also include live performances, drop in art workshops, and storytime at the library. For more information go to our full event page.

This project was funded through dlr’s Cruinniú na nÓg 2025 Open Call, and includes a choreography project for DYDC’s Transitions ensemble, who will be performing alongside DYDC’s Senior Dance  members as part of our Garageland Galaxyz live performance programme.
