Feel the Rhythm! Spoons and Body Percussion Workshop Series

Discover the captivating world of wooden spoon percussion and body rhythms in this dynamic workshop series! Under the expert guidance of professional musician, Hanna Shchokina, young participants will:

  • Master the traditional art of wooden spoon-playing.
  • Create exciting rhythms through claps, stomps and body percussion.
  • Develop confidence and performance skills. 

This 9-session programme culminates in a special showcase performance at the Cruinniú na nÓg celebration event at Monaghan Peace Campus on Saturday, 7th June, where participants will demonstrate their newfound talents on stage! This programme is suitable for children and young people aged 7 to 14 years. 

Spaces are limited and booking is required.
