Exploring Myths and Legends: Storytelling, Drama and Film-making Project (Shared Island)

  • Screening

Young people from Monaghan and Fermanagh are coming together to gain an insight into the world of storytelling, drama and film-making! Facilitated by creative practitioner, Eve Li and Re-Act Productions, they will have the opportunity to gain experience of technical film-making, including directing, camerawork, lighting and post-production.

Participants will explore and exchange stories, myths and legends from the border region and beyond. Inspired by their own creative responses, the young people will collaboratively engage in storyboarding and script-writing, to create a short film.  The film will be screened at the Cruinniú Day celebration in Monaghan Peace Campus on Saturday, 7th June.

This project is funded by the Shared Island Initiative.
