Upcycling-Recycling Clothes Workshop with Sinead O’Hanlon

6 week Series with a creative design element to be designed and transferred onto an item(s) of clothing. e.g. shirt/jacket/skirt/ jeans etc. stitching, fabric painting, embellishments etc.

Project coordinator/creative works with textiles in her own work and as such ensures that this will be a very creative process. It would cover the topic of upcycling, recycling, and transforming.

Included are the supply of regular cotton T shirts for participants to begin practicing embellishment process before transferring skills onto their own upcycled clothing.

Upcycled clothing would be on display on Cruinniu Day (Sat 7th June). Mannequins dressed with clothing creations and mood boards making a visual display on the day.

Participants are from Mercy College Sligo and as such this is a closed non ticketed event.
