Upcycling-Recycling Clothes Workshop with Sinéad O’Hanlon

Performance

For participants from St Mary’s College, Ballysadare this 6-week workshops series with a creative design element will show how stitching, fabric painting, embellishments and more are designed and transferred onto of clothing.

Sinéad works with textiles in her own work and as such ensures that this will be a very creative process, covering the topics of upcycling, recycling, and transforming.

Included are the supply of regular cotton T shirts for participants to begin practicing embellishment process before transferring skills onto their own upcycled clothing.

The upcycled clothing will be on display on Cruinniú Day (Sat 6th June) with mannequins dressed in the clothing creations with mood boards making a visual display.

This is a closed non ticketed event.
