The Sligo Bookmaking Jamboree – A Cruinniú na nÓg Creative Experience

The Sligo Bookmaking Jamboree is a vibrant, one‑day, town‑wide celebration of creativity where children across Sligo are invited to design, craft, and bind their very own handmade books. Young creators of all ages can follow a creative trail of four interactive bookmaking stations located throughout the town. At each stop, a professional artist or bookmaker guides participants through a unique hands‑on activity, using high‑quality materials provided on-site. By the end of the journey, every child will leave with a beautifully finished, personalised book—an imaginative keepsake they crafted themselves. Children can book into a maximum of two venues.
