Lapwing Craft Workshop

  • Workshop

Join us for a creative workshop where you’ll make your very own Lapwing bird using recycled materials. The Lapwing, Ireland’s national bird, is known for its cool feather crest and colourful wings—perfect for an art project!

During the workshop, you’ll learn how to spot a Lapwing in the wild and how to build one using simple materials you can find at home.

Participants are encouraged to bring materials for the workshop including cardboard, Cereal boxes, kitchen roll card tubes, and newspaper. All other materials will be provided.

This workshop is for children aged from 9 to 11 years old at 2.30 June 6th in Fermoy Library, County Cork. To book your place please email fermoylibrary@corkcoco.ie or call in to the branch.
