The Puppet Portal Carlow

  • Workshop

The Puppet Portal invites children and families to step into a playful world of creativity and connection. In this relaxed drop in experience, participants can use open-ended materials and loose parts to design and build their own unique puppets, experimenting with characters and imaginative ideas.

Once their puppets are ready, makers can step up to the Puppet Portal – a live video link connecting Carlow Library and Bagenalstown Library. Through this shared screen, children and families can introduce their puppets and interact playfully with others in another town at the same time.

The Puppet Portal celebrates creativity, connection and community, offering a fun shared experience where families can make, play, and connect through their puppet creations.

This event is for 3-10 year olds
