Exploring the Táin

  • Workshop

Exploring the Táin is an exciting street theatre storytelling project delivered by M.A.D Youth Theatre, designed for young people aged 12–18 who are interested in myth, movement and performance.

Across a series of weekly workshops, participants will explore local folklore and mythology, focusing on the epic tales of the Ulster Cycle. Through fun, practical, and interactive sessions, young people will work together to devise a short street theatre performance that uses stage combat, street spectacle, and dynamic storytelling.

The project will culminate in a public performance on Saturday, 6th June, as part of Cruinniú na nÓg, which celebrates creativity and youth voice.
