Dragonflies and Bumbly Bees Art Workshops

Jump into a world of colour and creativity in this hands‑on insect making workshop for children aged 8 to 12. Inspired by the beautiful grounds of the National Museum of Ireland at Turlough Park, you will paint, glue and build your own dragonflies, bumbly bees and imaginative insect creations while exploring playful cardboard construction and bright colour choices.

You will experiment with mark making, layering and warm and cool colours as you create your own artwork in a friendly and energetic setting. The workshop is all about getting messy, trying new techniques and letting your imagination buzz. It is a space for creativity, exploration and learning through doing, with plenty of freedom to make bold choices and unique designs.
