BOOKED OUT! Summer Colours by the Seaside – Morning Session

Workshop

With summer holidays on the horizon, these engaging art sessions invite children to enjoy a fun, hands‑on creative experience inspired by the coastal environment around them. Over two hours, kids will explore painting techniques on canvas, experiment with texture-making, and learn colour‑mixing skills in a supportive and encouraging setting.

Children will work with textured materials to recreate the look and feel of the sea washing onto the sand, before mixing primary and secondary colours to design their own bright, beach‑themed summer umbrella patterns. Throughout the workshop, gentle discussions about shoreline experiences, natural textures, and “Summer Colours by the Seaside” will help them connect their artwork with the world around them.

By the end of the workshop, each child will have learned new techniques, strengthened their artistic abilities, and created an original piece of artwork to proudly bring home.
