Music Generation Galway County is delighted to host a musical event for children and young people with additional needs on Saturday, June 6th, as part of Cruinniú na nÓg celebrations. This free event aims to support young people from across Galway County to engage with creativity in a fun, accessible, and fully inclusive environment, ensuring they are meaningfully included in the day’s wider celebrations.
Taking place at the LimeLight Creative Centre in Oranmore (H91 E0RF) from 10am–1pm & 2pm-5pm, the event will welcome participants and their families, who are invited to attend together. All attendees must register in advance via the link. Careful attention will be given to sensory needs throughout the day, and the venue is fully accessible, including lift access, to ensure a comfortable and supportive experience for all participants.
Throughout the event, young people will have the opportunity to take part in hands-on musical workshops, get a chance to perform, try out new instruments, and enjoy a range of creative and musical activities. Refreshments will be provided, along with a Music Generation gift bag for participants to take away, helping to extend the creative experience beyond the event itself.
Important: Places are limited and places will be offered on a first come, first served basis.
