Hi my name is Megan and I’m this years Wonder Walls Ambassador! 

My earliest memory of creativity would be teaching myself to draw people as well as my surroundings. I was particularly inspired by some of the murals created due to Wonder Walls as these were some of the first pieces of art I’ve seen. For me being creative allows me to feel free, fulfilled and be myself. It allows me to communicate and express myself in ways that can’t be expressed in any other way. It brings me joy and I can’t imagen my life without it.  

My advice would be to dream big and if you’re passionate about something, don’t let anyone or anything stop you from doing it. Don’t be afraid to allow yourself to learn about new ways of being creative. It’s not always going to be perfect but sometimes it’s in those fails where ideas form. 

The best thing about Cruinniú na nÓg is the opportunities it opens for young to explore something new and meet people with the same interest all while boosting their confidence. 

To me, creativity is a world of endless possibilities.
