Born to Perform: A Celebration of Youth & Sound (NTE)

This June, Skibbereen Town Hall will be transformed into a hub of high-energy performance and professional artistry. We invite the public to witness the culmination of an extraordinary journey for 26 of West Cork’s most talented young musicians.

The Listening Project x Born to Perform partnership is more than a concert; it is a “professional immersion” program that has taken local teenagers (ages 12–17) out of their practice rooms and onto a world-class stage. On Saturday, June 6th, you are invited to see the results of their hard work in a free, high-fidelity showcase for Cruinniú na nÓg.

What to Expect on the Night

The Main Stage (7:30 PM – 11:30 PM)

The evening kicks off with a series of showcases from our youth ensembles. These aren’t just student recitals—these are fully produced performances featuring professional sound engineering and lighting.
