Creative Dance & Movement – 7 Week Workshop & Performance

This 7-week creative movement project invites children on a playful, collaborative journey where you can experiment, explore, and express yourselves through dance. Using improvisation, creative movement, and dance-making, you can discover new ways to move while building confidence and imagination.

In a warm, supportive, and non-competitive space, you move solo, in pairs, and in groups. Each week encourages curiosity as you explore movement in fresh, fun, and imaginative ways.

Across the 7 weeks, we’ll explore different tools for creating dance together, from guided improvisation to making short group pieces.

At the end of the project, there will be a relaxed, informal sharing on June 6th, where you can show a little of what you have created and let each child’s unique creative voice be heard and celebrated.

Age: 8-11 years
Workshops: Tuesdays for 7 weeks, starting on 21st of April, 3.30pm – 4.30pm
Performance: Saturday 6th June, 12.30am
