Cruinniú na nÓg at Bridge Street Studios – Art and Craft Workshops

Workshop

Bridge Street Studios will run a series of 10 arts and crafts workshops for Cruinniú na nóg on June 6th.

These workshops are specifically designed for children and teenagers aged 5-18.

Media include sculpture, pottery, wax crayon, batik, drawing, paper craft, felt making and gelli printing, taught by 7 professional artists: Órlaith Cullinane, Caóilfíonn Murphy O’Hanlon, Rachel Tinniswood, Fiona Quigley, Sarah McKenna, Mary Cowan and Orla Barry.

In hands-on sessions, children and teenagers will have fun making their own artworks whilst learning about new materials, skills and techniques in a working artist studio.

Each workshop will involve a demonstration and explanation followed by step-by-step guidance from the facilitator in a creative, supportive environment.
