Ghosts, Clay & Wheel Fun Day!

Workshop

Step into a world of spooky stories and hands‑on making at this Cruinniú na nÓg clay workshop, delivered in collaboration with the Butter Museum. Children will enjoy an interactive storytelling session about ghostly figures said to haunt the old Butter Roads, with time to ask questions before creating their own imaginative versions of these characters using clay.

Participants will also experience a wheel‑throwing demonstration and a relaxed discussion about pottery techniques, led by secondary school student Diorean, a junior member of Shandon Art Studio. Diorean will share what it’s like to work in a real studio and encourage young people to talk about their own experiences of making with clay.
