Things That Matter – A Paint Punch Exhibition

The Paint Punch process was inspired by the physical movements of young boys in Abbeyfeale as they shadow-boxed their way through their day. In 2025 with the support of The Gaff in Limerick, Paint Punch visited Listowel and Tralee in a collaborative project with Kerry LCYP and KCYS. Nine boys took part in a series of workshops where their love of boxing ignited an interest in paint and the creation of nine large artworks. Reflected in the artworks are key images from youth and young Traveller culture.
