Workshop

Vinyl Design is a hands-on visual arts workshop where young people transform recycled vinyl records into bold, original artworks inspired by music, identity, and self-expression. Participants will explore colour, composition, and mixed media techniques while designing a circular artwork that reflects their personality or favourite music style. Attendees will also design an album cover for their chosen musician/band. A group idea-sharing discussion encourages creative input, and a short showcase at the end allows participants to present their work. As part of Cruinniú na nÓg, this event celebrates youth voice and contemporary creativity in Roscommon through a Graphic Design project suitable expanding creative knowledge and for portfolio inclusion.
