Waterford Libraries Celebration of Children’s Creativity

  • Workshop

All week in the lead up to June 6th Waterford City & County Libraries will be hosting a series of free workshops for children and young people around Waterford County. From Circus to STEM these creative engagements will be captured by a filmmaker and the young people themselves for a short film piece to be shown in Central Library on June 6th, Cruinniú na nÓg Day, showcasing the energy, wonder and joy of art creation.

Young poets from around Waterford will share new work written specifically for the celebration in Central Library on June 6th at 2:15pm. These works will collected into a ‘zine that will be available for free at Waterford Libraries after the event.

Workshops will be taking place in Portlaw, Ardkeen, Kilmacthomas and Dungarvan libraries. Contact your local library for workshop details and booking.
