We Were Known brings the stories of Donegal emigrants to life through 20 Wet Plate Collodion portraits, a historic photographic process new to Donegal. By blending community memories, archival research, and innovative craft, the project transforms personal histories into striking, tangible artwork, connecting Donegal and Glasgow across generations.
