Wild Willow Creations

  • Workshop

Get ready to weave, twist, bend and create! Students from Attymass National School will explore the magical world of willow‑craft in the lead‑up to Cruinniú na nÓg 2026.

In the days before June 6th, children will take part in fun, hands‑on school willow workshops. Together, the group will also help create one or two larger willow artworks for the school garden beautiful pieces that will grow and change with the seasons.

Then, on Cruinniú na nÓg (June 6th), families are invited to join in the fun during a Family Weaving Session at the Attymass Community Centre. Parents, guardians, brothers, sisters everyone is welcome to try willow‑weaving alongside the children.

This project is for pupils of Attymass National School, but the family workshop on June 6th is open to parents and relatives who would like to join in the celebration and discover the joy of weaving.
Come along, try something new, and help fill Attymass with creativity for Cruinniú na nÓg!
