The Creggs Kilbegnet Hall Ladies Committee will host a community event bringing together women of all ages to explore creative, sustainable ways of living. The project will focus on re‑using and upcycling everyday items—from clothing to books—while celebrating the traditional crafts of stitching, quilting, and needlework. Participants will work together to repurpose old garments into a collective quilt, demonstrating how creativity and sustainability can go hand in hand.

Alongside a community book swap, the event will also open conversations around practical ways to reduce and reuse in daily life, including water conservation, seed saving, and mindful battery use. A guest speaker will join the gathering to offer insights and inspire further learning.

This project aims to empower local women through shared creativity, skill‑building, and environmental awareness, fostering a warm, intergenerational space for discovery and connection.
