Cruinniú na nÓg dlr 2026: Mythology & Storytelling Performance

By students from Dominican Primary School

Join us on Saturday 6 June for an exciting performance event for children of all ages.

This performance has been created by fifth class from Dominican Primary School, Dún Laoghaire, and will be presented in a vibrant staging to the public. The students have been working diligently to bring these tales to life, drawing from a rich tapestry of Irish mythology and personal storytelling, with a focus on local Marine motifs. Their performance promises to enchant the audience with tales of personal heroes, mystical creatures, and age-old adventures.

With the support of Creative Ireland dlr, two media practitioners, Roseanne Lynch and Denis McArdle, will facilitate this staged performance of personal storytelling and mythology by and for children.

This project was funded through the dlr Cruinniú na nÓg 2026 Open Call.
