Foróige Wire Sculpture and Printing

Workshop

The young people of Ballaghaderreen Foróige will take part in a series of wire sculpture and printing workshops. Creations will form a window exhibition in Ballaghaderreen for all to enjoy.

This idea of this project came directly from the young people, who expressed a desire to explore more art forms.

This event is about more than just art, it’s about providing a high quality, positive experience for an enthusiastic group of young people. It offers them the chance to learn specialised techniques from a professional in a relaxed, non-traditional environment, building both their creative confidence and their connection to the community.

6-8pm on May 12th and 19th,and a mini workshop for the group on 6th of June from 7–8 p.m with accompanying window exhibition
