Voices of Tradition : Traveller Youth in Song and Story

This powerful and inspiring workshop invites Traveller young people aged 13–18 to explore and celebrate their identity through voice, storytelling, and performance. In a safe, supportive, and creative environment, participants will work with experienced artists to develop skills in singing, spoken word, and expressive performance.

Rooted in the rich cultural heritage of the Traveller community, this programme creates space for young people to share their stories, reflect on their experiences, and shape how their voices are heard. Through collaboration and creativity, participants will build confidence, connect with peers, and take pride in their culture.
