Wavin’ Words Spoken Word Poetry Workshop 1

Your VOICE, your LANGUAGE, your STORIES, IDEAS, EMOTIONS – reimagined and transformed into poetry…

Young people aged 13 and up can dive into high energy spoken word fun at The Carnegie in Swords, where they will play with language, build confidence and craft their own powerful performances for Cruinniú na nÓg. Participants will also have the exciting chance to step onto the Slam Poetry Stage at the We Own The Castle teen music festival in Swords Castle, sharing their voices and creativity with a live audience. Workshops run on Tuesday 2 and Wednesday 3 June 2026 from 2pm to 4pm, with the Wavin’ Words Youth Poetry Slam taking place in Swords Castle Chapel on Saturday 6 June from 5pm to 9pm.
